In August 1996, I started at the University of Virginia in beautiful Charlottesville, VA. On April 18, 1997, I withdrew. In July 1997 I applied for readmission and was accepted, so I decided to give it another shot. I have had a decent 97-98 year, and a fun time living with my buddies Ron, Pete, and Mike (and our part-time roomies Sarah & Missy). I decided to major in Religious Studies with an Eastern concentration and minor in Environmental Science, a bit of a 180 from my pre-med curriculum first-year!

However, I also came to the realization that school's not the thing for me at this point, so I will be taking next year (at least) off, probably staying in Charlottesville to work during the fall, then taking off either out West or to the Caribbean for a bit.
